Private Warsaw Tour – Discover Poland’s Capital with a Local Driver
Duration: 4 hours
Private Warsaw Tour
Discover Warsaw on a private 4-hour sightseeing tour with a local driver and experience both the famous landmarks and the everyday character of Poland’s capital.
Warsaw was almost completely destroyed during World War II and later rebuilt from the ruins. Today, it is one of the fastest-developing cities in Poland – a fascinating combination of history, communist-era architecture, modern skyscrapers and vibrant local neighbourhoods.
Escape the standard tourist routes and explore Warsaw at a comfortable pace with Polish Paddy Private Tours & Transfers.
During this private Warsaw tour, you will see some of the city’s most important landmarks as well as places that reveal its everyday life, local atmosphere and striking contrasts.
The tour is designed for 1–8 guests who want to discover Warsaw comfortably, privately and at their own pace.
1. Palace of Culture and Science & Modern Warsaw Skyline
Location: Plac Defilad / Emilii Plater Street, central Warsaw
We start in the heart of modern Warsaw, around the iconic Palace of Culture and Science (PKiN).
This is one of the best places to understand the contrast that defines modern Warsaw. The monumental socialist-realist Palace of Culture stands surrounded by contemporary glass skyscrapers, including Varso Tower, the tallest building in the European Union by architectural height.
It is the perfect introduction to a city where different periods of Polish history exist side by side.
2. The Royal Route, Embassies & Central Warsaw
Location: Plac Trzech Krzyży / Plac Zbawiciela / Śródmieście
We continue through one of Warsaw’s most elegant and representative areas.
Along the route, you can see historic townhouses, foreign embassies, government buildings, the Polish Parliament and impressive architecture representing different periods of Warsaw’s history.
This part of the tour also provides a glimpse into the everyday life of central Warsaw beyond the typical tourist attractions.
3. Royal Łazienki & Belweder Palace
Location: Aleje Ujazdowskie / Łazienki Królewskie
We visit the area around Royal Łazienki Park, one of Warsaw’s most famous historical and green spaces.
Here you can see Belweder Palace and the famous Fryderyk Chopin Monument at the entrance to Łazienki Park.
The park and surrounding area combine Polish royal history, beautiful architecture and nature right in the centre of Warsaw.
4. Vistula Panorama, Praga & Świętokrzyski Bridge
Location: Wybrzeże Szczecińskie / Praga-Północ / right bank of the Vistula River
We cross the Vistula River to discover a different side of Warsaw.
From the right bank of the river, you can enjoy one of the most impressive panoramic views of the city. From here, you can see the historic skyline of Warsaw Old Town and the Royal Castle, with the modern skyscrapers of the city centre rising in the background.
The route also introduces you to the atmosphere of Praga, a district known for its distinctive character and different history from the reconstructed city centre.
We return towards central Warsaw via the Świętokrzyski Bridge, offering another excellent view of the Vistula and Warsaw skyline.
5. Warsaw Old Town – Final Stop
Location: Warsaw Old Town / Stare Miasto
We continue along the Vistula River towards Warsaw Old Town, where the tour finishes.
The historic centre of Warsaw was almost completely destroyed during World War II and carefully reconstructed after the war. Today, the Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important places to visit in the Polish capital.
From here, you can continue exploring the Old Town, Market Square, Royal Castle and nearby New Town on foot.
